Can you remove mould in an HDB household shelter?
Yes. Household shelters have no ventilation and often store damp items, so they are a common mould spot. We treat the surfaces and advise on keeping the shelter dry.
Will the mould come back after treatment?
Mould returns only if the moisture source remains. We treat the surface and identify the cause, and eligible work carries warranty options. If a leak is involved, the source must be repaired to prevent recurrence.
Do I need to move out during treatment?
For most surface treatments you do not. If ULV fogging is used, we ask you to vacate the room for about two hours so the treatment can settle safely.
